Sperm Donation Treatment
The sperm donation treatment program works like IVF / ICSI treatment. The only difference is that instead of using the male partner sperm sample, you choose a sperm donor to fertilize the eggs. When sperm or insufficient sperm production does not occur in the male patient's testicles, sperm donation is the preferred method for sperm quantity or quality to avoid difficulties in pregnancy or other related health risks. Also, sperm donation is required for women/lesbian couples, single women and women, but the male partner has serious abnormalities in semen parameters.
Among these abnormalities, both obstructive and non-obstructive sperm absence (azoospermia), decreased sperm count (oligospermia), or abnormalities of other sperm or seminal fluid are also indications for donor fertilization. It is also seen when the man has ejaculatory dysfunction or when the woman is RH RH sensitive and the husband is RH positive. Also, couples where the male partner is at risk of passing a genetically inherited disease to the child.
If the desired outcome of a successful pregnancy is not achieved due to insufficient sperm or quality identified as the cause of fertility problems, sperm donation is a possible option to increase the chances of being intentional.
A semen analysis is necessary so that the male patient can analyze the quality, volume and motility of the sperm.
